The February date for Chiltern International Fire's popular Fire Doors Explained training day has sold out as demand for training in this specialist area continues - despite the difficult economic climate.

Almost as soon as the 2012 details were released online, the 28th February date for Chiltern International Fire's one-day training course 'Fire Doors Explained' sold out. The CPD-certified seminar, which covers steel, composite and timber fire doors, has always proved popular, but this year's interest in the course has 'surpassed all expectations'.

Deputy Technical Manager Mark Cummings said, 'Despite a difficult economic climate, the demand for training in this specialist area continues to increase. Fire Doors Explained provides an invaluable insight, serving a wide audience, from manufacturers, installers and designers of fire doorsets, to local authorities and building control inspectors.'

Further dates for 2012 are 17th April, 27th June, 19th September, 17th October and 21st November. The cost is unchanged at £310 + VAT (standard) with a discounted rate of £275 + VAT for TRADA and BM TRADA Q-Mark members. The course takes place at CIF's High Wycombe headquarters.

For provisional BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Registered Installers, half-day seminars will take place on 29th February, 18th April, 28th June, 20th September, 18th October and 22nd November.

【本報綜合報道】加爾各答醫院大火造成重大傷亡，有人歸咎於院方安全意識薄弱，違法把大量易燃物品存放於停車場，造成慘劇。印度最近一份報告亦指出，當地商廈的防火設備普遍簡陋，民眾也漠視防火規條。而一名曾在火災痛失兒女的母親便力斥政府執法懶散，致慘劇一而再發生。

當局最近評估真奈市附近購物區的防火水平，結果發現逾百座商廈都不遵守防火規條，包括缺乏滅火筒、灑水器及走火通道，而且樓宇起得密麻麻，根本沒預留至少七米的火災緩衝區，供消防車停泊及雲梯架設之用。然而商戶對防火設施不足不以為然，一旦發生火災，後果便是災難性。

去年班加羅爾市一幢商廈起火致九人死亡，當時大樓內很多人都低估火勢。九七年德里戲院大火痛失兩名孩子的克里希納穆爾蒂稱醫院大火是「絕對可以避免」，都怪當局沒嚴懲違反防火法例的人。

永利街翻新符安全防火

【明報專訊】市建局昨日宣布，自4月起展開修葺的上環永利街4幢唐樓，將於本年底竣工，翻新後的11個單位，會以象徵式租金租予建築、保育學者或內地藝術家。有指翻新後的唐樓，其間隔和裝修過於「現代化」，失去歷史痕跡，市建局昨逐點反駁，指建築需符合現時的防火和安全守則，需跟隨50年前的圖則清拆僭建物，「可保留的已盡量保留」。

加建廁所改善居所
上環永利街的唐樓群，去年因電影《歲月神偷》帶起保育爭議，12座唐樓最終於去年剔出重建項目。擁有當中約一半業權的市建局，4月起陸續翻新單位，包括清拆僭建物、改動部分設計等，單位至昨日已完成復修，並安排傳媒參觀。

經翻新的唐樓，部分原有的地磚和樓梯扶手的水磨石得以保留，單位內的牆身則重新油漆，鐵窗框亦仿效唐樓設計再作安裝。現場所見，單位的內部結構亦有所更改，部分空間被劃分成廚房，原有圖則廚房的位置則變為洗手間。

市建局規劃及設計總監馬昭智解釋，局方在可能情况下，會盡量保留內部物料，但單位的設施需要符合現今市民居住的需求，「以前單位內沒有廁所，市民要到樓下公廁，現在相信沒人願意這樣居住」。他又說，永利街並不屬於任何評級的建築，當局已盡量維持最值得保留的平臺及氛圍，部分改建，如安裝木門和拆卸大閘，是為了符合現時的建築及消防條例。

承諾不出租作商業用途
他指，部分的牆身石屎剝落，必須作出修葺，否則「住不到人」，雖然樓宇看似「新淨」，但他認為，保育並不應該刻意創造，而他日「新淨」程度降低時，將能與周邊樓宇配合。

整項斥資1400萬元的工程，預計12月完成，局方屆時會以象徵式租金，出租給保育學者或藝術家，作實地研究或進駐，又承諾不出租單位作商業用途。

Fire Prevention week was established to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Each year the campaign is about keeping you, your family and your community safer from fire.

While Fire Prevention Week is October 9 – 15, the entire month is actually devoted to Fire Prevention.

This year’s theme is about “protecting your family from fire.”

Shawn Wiederholt of Guilford has been fighting fires with Maryville Public Safety for over five years.

“This time of year is really important to check everything in your house – smoke alarms and fire extinguishers,” Wiederholt said. “We’re about to check in on older folks in town and change all the batteries in their smoke alarms.”

Wiederholt was at Eugene Field Elementary School with volunteer firefighter Dilan DeVries, of Maryville on Thursday to do an after-school demonstration for students.

The pair arrived in a fire truck and students filed out one group at a time to get a up close look at the fire truck and the equipment.

Fourth grader Ethan Stone jumped up onto the fire truck and looked around.

“I didn’t know we’d get a chance to actually get up onto the truck, I think it’s neat we could get in it!” Stone said.

To test their knowledge, Weiderholt asks the students some basic questions about fire prevention. They knew some basics but he added more good tips for them to remember.

With this year’s theme about protecting your family from fire, Missouri’s fire marshal is urging residents to develop fire escape routes for their homes and practice at least twice a year.

Phil Rickabaugh, fire division supervisor, says that many families do not have escape plans. Every second counts, and escape plans help you get out of your home quickly.

一個機器人保姆緩慢滑入廚房，用只有三根手指的手拿起一瓶蘋果汁，輕輕放入身前托盤。接著，它滑回客廳，把飲料呈給正在聊天的客人們。
這一科學幻想小說中的場景，已由德國斯圖加特市弗勞恩霍弗製造工程與自動化學院所研製的新型機器人變為現實。也許有一天，機器人保姆真可以讓人類徹底解脫家務勞動。

外形像一立式吸塵器新型機器人保姆代號為Care-O-Bot3，高1.45米。它只有一隻手臂，三根手指，外觀與人體毫無相似之處，但行動靈活，可以完成不少家務雜事。德新社24日援引參與研製工作的克裡斯托弗·帕爾利茨所作解釋，設計之初，研究人員有意避開了仿生家政機器人的外形。

不過，別看外形像一台立式真空吸塵器，新型機器人能做不少事情。而且，與「前輩」相比，它不但能借助於胸前觸摸屏幕「領會」主人的意思，還能聽懂語音命令，甚至「看懂」手勢。

全身遍佈各種傳感器
那麼，這個機器人究竟是如何運行？它怎麼會知道所需東西的位置？怎麼知道究竟用多大力量捏住一個玻璃瓶子？怎麼避免在做家務過程中誤傷主人？
一切「秘密」都在它遍佈全身不計其數的傳感器中。

立體彩色照相機、激光掃瞄儀、三維立體攝像頭使機器人保姆可以實時瞭解身邊環境。如果有人進入它手臂活動的範圍內，手臂會停止動作；體內數據庫告訴它各種生活用品的外形特徵，以及在哪兒能找到那些用品；壓力傳感器則可以避免它在抓東西時用力過大。

行動自如能「學習」
這一新型機器人還有兩個重要特點：「靈活」和「聰明」。

研究人員比吉特·格拉夫說：「安裝在機器人腳下四個獨立、可向不同方向移動的輪子讓它行動靈活，「這樣，即使是公寓中一個狹窄的過道，Care-O-Bot3也可以安全通過。」
機器人保姆的手臂有7種自由度，可以讓它行動自如；三根手指可以拿住瓶子、茶杯以及類似物體並可以按下按鈕操縱其他機器。此外，它還具備「學習」能力，認識新事物。使用者只需把機器人不知道的物件放入它「手」中，它就可以對物件作三維分析，從而「記住」這一物件。

Brush fire near Red Butte Gardens begins weekend fire season

SALT LAKE CITY — The heat was on Sunday, as 100-degree temperatures registered the hottest day of the year and sent Utahns scrambling for cover.

On I-15 near Bangerter Highway, two southbound lanes were closed after high temperatures caused a concrete slab to buckle.

A brush fire in the mountains east of Red Butte Gardens at the University of Utah campus began Sunday at 2 p.m and spread over 20 acres. As of Sunday evening, officials said the fire was 40 percent contained. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but officials were not ruling out human involvement.

"This vegetation is dry, it's ready to burn and it's moving," Salt Lake Fire Cpt. Mark Bednarik said.

Bednarik said the fire was a "close call," with flames coming as close as 150 yards to structures. He could not speculate on when the fire would be contained, but said crews would be working through the night and were optimistic of having a perimeter around the fire Monday morning. The west side of the fire, which threatened Red Butte Gardens, the Chevron oil pipeline and the Natural History Museum, was completely contained while the east side continued to burn.

"The east side is still a big concern," Bednarik said.

Bednarik said that precautions were taken to ensure the well-being of the 120 firefighters working in the extreme heat. As of Sunday evening no injuries – of crew members or residents – were reported.

In the mountains east of Weber State University in Ogden, a fire was contained early Sunday morning after illegal fireworks triggered the burn around 11 p.m. Saturday, officials said. The people using the fireworks called the fire department and crews from five agencies struggled to reach the location due to the mountain terrain and lack of roads.

The fire burned nearly two acres before it was contained and did not reach any homes, officials said.

In the Daybreak Community of South Jordan, a garage was set on fire by fireworks around 10:20 p.m. Saturday. South Jordan Fire Battalion Chief Wayne Edginton said a homeowner was putting on a fireworks show outside his home in an open area when something went "awry" and fireworks were ignited inside the garage. A spectator standing approximately 180 feet away was struck by shrapnel and drove himself to the hospital after experiencing burns and lacerations, Edginton said. Two other individuals were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.

Steve Rodgers was watching the fireworks from across Oquirrh Lake and said it looked like a professional show. When the fireworks stopped, the show didn't.

"There were fireworks going off inside the garage and flames rolling out through the garage door," Rodgers said.

大馬國中“失火”警鈴響‧近900師生演習逼真

今日聯合新山拉慶消拯局舉行校內防火演習。今天的演習共有逾800名上午班學生及70名教師參與，消拯局方面則出動了16名消拯員、一輛消拯車及一輛救傷車。消拯員在校舍製造滾滾濃煙，場景逼真。當警鈴響起時，校園內頓時尖叫聲四起，同學紛紛按照安全路線疏散至操場。

首次與消拯局聯辦演習

大馬國中家教協會主席鄭志文說，此次消防演習是該會首次與消防局聯辦，希望借此機會教導學生如何在火患發生時，以正確的滅火技術及防備工作來解決問題。此次防火演習的現場指揮官克沙萬表示，該隊伍與學校所安排的“劇情”非常逼真，甚至安排6名學生“受困”樓內，考驗消防人員的救援技術。

瞭解拯救行動運作

鄭瑋琳（16歲）表示，她在拯救行動中扮演受困的學生之一，親身參與的她學到了在火災發生時要如何應對，也瞭解到消拯隊的拯救行動是如何運作。

學習火災時應臨危不亂

葉雪莉（16歲）是在拯救行動中，扮演因受困而呼吸困難的學生。演習讓她學習到，火災時應臨危不亂，等待消拯人員的救援。

首次參與演習相當有趣

許智勇（14歲）也參與了這次演習，扮演受困二樓的學生。他在不到10分鐘的時間內就被“救出”，拯救行動非常速度。雖然他早已知曉關於防火的基本常識，但這是他第一次參與防火演習，所以感覺相當有趣。（星洲日報／大柔佛）

住宅防火居家生活注意事項

揮發性之油類【汽油、酒精、香蕉油、溶劑油等】，最易引起火災，切勿放在家中。
住宅四周巷道，違章建築或擅自設攤販，均會影響消防救災，應隨時向有關單位檢舉取締，以維護公共安全。
家庭應自備滅火器，並熟悉使用方法以備不時之需；裝璜、裝修或隔間，應使用防火材料及防焰物品，以免火警時產生濃煙烈焰影響逃生。
廚房之塵垢油污應隨時清除、煙囟及油煙通風管等，必須加裝鐵絲紗罩，以減少油脂進入通風管道內。如設有煙囟，距離屋頂須有適當高度，以免火屑飛散，引起火災。
廚房之牆壁、天花板與灶台等，均應使用不燃性防火材料建造，廚房內並應設置ＡＢＣ乾粉滅火器。
房屋內部隔間、地板、天花板等裝璜，宜使用不燃性材料或經防火處理之耐燃材料；另地毯、窗簾等，宜選購具有防焰標示之防焰物品。
不可在住家從事爆竹煙火之廠外加工。
樓房窗戶裝置防竊鐵窗或廣告招牌等，容易妨礙逃生，如已裝有鐵窗者，應開設一逃生口，當逃生口上鎖時，應讓全家人均知道鑰匙位置，並定期或不定期予以保養。
汽車應自備ＡＢＣ乾粉滅火器，以備滅火。禁止於川堂或公共門廳停放機車，以免影響緊急避難逃生。
梯間、通道及陽台勿堆積易燃物品，以免助長火災蔓延及影響逃生安全。

養成良好生活習慣

亂丟菸蒂易發生危險，床上吸菸更易失火燒身，吸菸人士務必養成隨手熄滅煙蒂之習慣。
大人外出切勿將小孩反鎖在家，火柴、打火機等須放在安全處所，以免小孩玩火，引起火災。
睡前和外出切記消防安全檢查，關閉電氣、熄滅火源。
生火取暖或以蚊香薰趕蚊蟲，易引起火災，務必小心處理。
燃放爆竹，最易引起火災，應儘量避免，如必須燃放時，應遠離易燃物品，切勿讓孩童任意玩放。
作飯、燒菜時儘量避免離開現場；當油鍋起火時，應立即將鍋蓋蓋上或用濕毛巾覆蓋，切勿用水直接潑澆撲救。

落實火源安全

防止電線短路，定期維護保護。
使用瓦斯養成隨手關閉之習慣。
神桌燈燭長期使用，注意防範電線破損或過熱。
祭祖焚燒紙錢，使用容器裝盛，避免被風吹散造成意外。
注意住宅附近可疑人物，居家四週不要堆積易燃物，機車避免置放於騎樓，避免遭人縱火。

製作家庭逃生計畫

家人共同討論，考量家中可能之起火場所，選定二方向逃生路線，以預防主要出入口無法逃生時，能經由其它方向之門窗，至室外安全集合地點集。
假如窗戶有裝置鐵窗，應預留可開啟之逃生口，並教導家中每一個人都能快速開啟結，並確保每個家庭成員都能知道屋外集合地點。
平時準備妥適之簡易居家防災器具，並瞭解其相關位置，做好維護保養，確保相關設備及器具能發生應有功能。
製作緊急聯絡電話卡，保持常新，讓家中成員隨身攜帶乙張，或擺放於固定位置，俾便緊急時，容易取得。

Fire Log: Leaving The Damper Door Closed

Gas on School Street: Feb. 2 – At 1:03 a.m., Engine 1, Rescue 1, and other units were dispatched to a School Street two family to investigate a CO detector activation. Engine 1 reported CO readings of 40 parts per million (ppm) in the basement and low levels on the first floor. Rescue 1 reported readings of 8-15 ppm on the second floor. The commander at the scene requested the gas company to the scene. Both burner units were shut down and red tagged and companies ventilated. Engine 1 discovered that the vent ducts to each burner unit were partially blocked by snow. Gas company arrived on scene and readings returned to normal after several minutes of ventilation. Homeowner advised of the red tag process and to have his burner units checked by a qualified service technician. The homeowner was also advised to clear the snow from around his vent and basement door.
Boiler overflow: Feb. 2 – At 8:50 a.m., units were dispatched to an Upland Road where the tenant on the first floor left the water fill for the boiler open. There was an oil burner technician on scene when companies arrived.
Leaking icy water: Feb. 2 – At 12:32 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a Betts Road dwelling where it was discovered that the resident had water leak through the ceiling of first floor rear addition due to ice build-up.
24 inches of snow on the carport: Feb. 2 – At 1:42 p.m., units were dispatched to another Betts Road house to investigate the structural integrity of a carport roof. The roof had approximately 24" of snow and ice on it but did not show any signs of structural damage. The homeowner was advised to have the snow and ice removed to prevent any damage.
Checking leak, finds burner on and unattended: Feb. 2 – At 6:20 p.m., fire equipment was dispatched to a Beech Street multifamily dwelling. The incident was determined to be a water problem. A pipe to a water filtration system under the sink of the third floor unit had broken. Entry into the house was gained to the third floor unit by forcing a window on the third floor porch, damaging the window lock and the window. The third floor tenant had also left a burner to the stove on, and this burner was shut off. Water had leaked through the third floor to the second floor, the first floor and the basement. All of the affected electrical fixtures were shut down. The wire inspector responded and notified people in all three units to contact an electrician. The water also ran through the fire alarm panel showing a ground fault. The fire alarm system was red tagged. A member of the condo association was notified to have the alarm company repair the system.
Still standing on Rutledge: Feb. 4 – At 6:42 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a Rutledge Road house. A caller reported to dispatchers a possible structure collapse at this location with an occupant inside. Firefighters found the structure to be sound and the occupant OK.
Faulty burners: Feb. 4 – At 7:55 p.m., fire units were dispatched to a Leslie Road dwelling for a gas leak inside the house. On arrival, Engine 1 investigated and found levels of 10-40 ppm throughout dwelling. Gas systems were shut down and dwelling was ventilated. National Grid was notified and responded. The first floor heating unit was found to be the source of CO in the dwelling. The unit was red tagged and the gas supply shut off. The homeowner was told to notify a technician for service.
Dampers need to be opened: Feb. 4 – At 9:26 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Fitzmaurice Circle for smoke inside the house. It was discovered that the source of the smoke came from a fire in the fireplace in which the damper door was closed, filling the dwelling with smoke and setting off the fire alarm system.
Ice backup: Feb. 5 – At 4:12 p.m., units were dispatched to a Davis Street multifamily for a reported water problem. On arrival, personnel investigated and found water seeping into the second floor ceiling due to snow and ice piled on a flat roof. No structural damage was noticed. The occupant stated the landlord was aware of situation and arranging to fix the problem. Occupant was advised to stay out of the room until the ceiling and water leak fixed.
Water in alarm: Feb. 5 – At 7:27 p.m., fire units were dispatched to a Greensbrook Way house for an activated alarm. The incident was determined to be an alarm system ‘s alarm going off due to a malfunction: water was dripping into a smoke detector due to an ice dam problem on the roof.
Inside ashes leads to outside fire: Feb. 5 – At 8:15 p.m., Engine 2 and other units from the Belmont Fire Department were dispatched to an Amherst Road house to investigate a reported outside fire. The homeowner on the scene reports taking ash from his fireplace after burning a fire and placing it outside and away from his home. Engine 2 extinguished any remaining fire and the incident was determined to be a special outside fire.

ANSI Seeks Public Comments on Fire Door Revision

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is looking for public comments relating to fire doors.

ANSI, which oversees the creation, circulation and use of thousands of guidelines in several industries, is considering several proposals sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Proposal BSR/NFPA 252-201x, Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Door Assemblies is a revision of ANSI/NFPA 252-2007. The revision prescribes standardized fire and hose stream test procedures that apply to fire-door assemblies intended to be used to retard the spread of fire through door openings in fire-resistive walls.

All comments must be received by March 4, and will be included in the semi-annual NFPA Report on Comments. Comments and proposals can be submitted online to NFPA’s website.

The revision can be reviewed on the ANSI website, www.ansi.org.

【專案組報道】北角一間機舖日前機件故障，火警鐘大鳴，顧客依然打機拒絕離去的事件，令機舖防火安全問題惹起關注。不過，負責監管的影視處在過去三年巡查機舖逾八千次，一宗違規個案也沒有。立法會議員張文光狠批影視處巡查粗疏，又擔心在聖誕及新年長假期，大批市民流連，一旦發生火警將釀成傷亡悲劇。

機舖的發牌條件列明機舖必須符合消防標準，如在收銀處或管理處附近，擺放最少一個四點五公斤的滅火筒，並在每隔二百平方米，設有一個九升水式滅火筒；機舖亦需設有兩個出入口，確保意外時可盡快疏散場內人士。

本報揭設備不足

本報日前到上水、大埔、沙田及旺角區的機舖進行巡查，發現多間機舖未有遵照標準，如多間機舖都沒有在管理處或收銀處附近擺放滅火筒，只將滅火筒擺放在機舖的角落位置，甚至以雜物遮擋。部分機舖將其中一個出口關閉，甚至將入口的一邊門鎖上，作為擺放遊戲機，令逃生空間只剩「半邊門」。不少機迷一邊吸煙，一邊沉醉遊戲中，在場職員見到亦沒有勸阻。一名職員無奈說惟有「當睇唔到」。

英消防指令 : 小學拆貼堂勞作防火

英國全國各地很多小學都以學生的勞作和圖畫貼堂，裝飾壁報板，但他們使用紙張、顏料、蛋盒及豐富的想像力創作而成的藝術品，在消防督察眼中卻是很容易引起火警的危險品。

倫敦南部一所小學的職員因為該些「傑作」而曾經受到教育標準局稱讚，但最近到該校巡查的消防督察卻要求他們，移除牆上的「易燃物品」，並以「防火」物料代替。

在該小學擔任校長31年的肯特表示：「我的學校充滿藝術品，而這是每個人都喜歡及欣賞的東西之一。」

他續稱：「無論何時，任何訪客踏入學校，他們通常都說這些藝術展品很了不起。不過，該名消防督察認為，那些物品全部要除下來，或在某程度上做好防火措施。他提議把所有藝術品放進細小的玻璃箱內，但那會徹底破壞學校的特色。」

火警危機 - 嘉禾未汲教訓

【經濟日報專訊】08年旺角嘉禾大廈無情火斷送4人寶貴生命，當年相關人士信誓旦旦稱會做好防火措施，但本報發現，事隔2年多肇事大廈仍然危機處處，低層防煙門未重新安裝、其他樓層防煙門或開關困難、或漏貼防火膠，連被指於肇事當天阻擋散煙的天台僭建物亦未清拆。

區議員指曾向屋宇署反映區內僭建問題，但對方以未有即時結構性危險為由，沒有立即處理，反映部門各自為政，未能汲取血的教訓。

死因庭昨日裁定4名死者死於意外，並提出多項建議（見另文——「比鄰大廈拆防煙門擴營業」）。雖然嘉禾大廈在火警後花了逾百萬元翻新及安裝防火門窗等設備，但本報記者前日由退休消防員、金科消防顧問技術總監梁錦得陪同下巡查該大廈，仍發現危機處處。

事隔2年燒焦物仍未清理

現場所見，位於閣樓的肇事卡拉OK夜總會，被燒焦雜物仍未清理，低層防煙門或未安裝、或以木板作臨時防煙門；部分防火門氣鼓度數疑未有調校，開關有困難；6樓其中一扇防火門內側未有防火膠，一旦發生火災，濃煙便可能蔓延。

梁錦得解釋：「防火膠遇熱膨脹，可逼緊防煙門防煙；但由於防火門及防火窗均非消防設備，屬屋宇署管轄範圍，政府沒有立例管制安裝者的資歷，一旦出事惟有告業主，但業主根本無這些專業知識，對他們並不公道！」

沿樓梯抵達天台，堆放著一些油漆工具，被指令梯間濃煙不散的僭建天台屋，至今仍然存在，屋宇署發言人只回應表示：「已交有關部門處理。」

投訴有僭建屋署未處理

但油尖旺區議會防火事務委員會主席許德亮則踢爆，2年前已向屋宇署反映嘉禾有天台僭建屋，但對方竟回覆稱無即時結構性危險，未有勒令即時清拆；區內10幢樓宇9幢有僭建天台屋問題，每次反映均無功而還，對居民構成威脅。他批評，現行由消防及屋宇署條例「斬件式」監管消防設備問題，造就部門各自為政、互相推卸責任，促政府應統一處理大廈消防問題。

本報昨日再次進入嘉禾大廈，見到有工作人員更換電梯大堂滅火筒，但未有回覆是否昨天才接獲更換通知；而數名消防員亦到大廈巡查，檢視梯間消防設備；而在該大廈上班的余小姐表示，事發後大廈梯間及走廊已較之前乾淨。

消防：明年改用數碼通訊

昨陪審團倡消防處即時更換裝備及通訊器，消防處長盧振雄指，明年7月會改用新數碼化無線電通訊系統，可解決無線電波穿牆或受濃煙環境等因素而衰減的問題外，新系統亦有流動轉播器可攜上樓層，加強電波轉播，新的手提無線電機內亦增設緊急按鈕；處方已購置更佳保護性能的金色抗火衣，數月內分發予前線。

消防處發言人表示，會仔細研究死因庭判詞及建議，又透露早前曾試用一款9公升呼吸氣樽，但消防員背負時耗用更大體力，效果不理想。對於死因庭裁定4名死者死於意外，消防處職工總會主席趙善聰稱無奈接受，希望同類慘劇不要再發生；他對處方在慘劇後才加強裝備感遺憾，擔心明年中才更新通訊系統，會影響同袍在火場工作安全，盼盡快落實1人1通訊機，但對提升氣樽量的建議則有保留，認為會增加人員的體力消耗。

連日來，融安縣組織工商、公安、消防和安監等部門深入廠礦企業，積極開展用火、用電安全大檢查活動，力避火災的發生。

秋冬季節風幹物燥，不注意用火、用電極易發生火災。為此，從10月初起，該縣組織縣工商、公安、消防和安監等部門深入廠礦企業和公共場所宣傳消防安全常識、講解消防法律法規；對竹木加工場所消防設施、器材是否保持正常工作狀態，消防安全標志是否在位、完整，木屑、刨花等易燃易爆材料是否運到地面指定地點堆放，是否明確劃分用火作業、堆積場、倉庫、易燃廢品集中站和生活區域，用火、用電有無違章現象以及工人是否會正確使用消防器材等方面進行嚴格檢查。發現問題當即要求整改。對于存在重大火災隱患，無法保證消防安全的企業，動員其停業整頓，乃至依法吊銷營業執照。

據統計，至目前，該縣共出動車輛83架次、執法人員125人次，檢查竹林木加工企業、個體戶93家，公共場所28處，其中有7家（處）存在消防安全標志不明顯、易燃廢品沒有及時清理等安全問題，並已責令經營者立即整改。目前，全縣沒有發生一起火災事故。（吳輝王飛鳳）

冷鋒南下，與其相關的一股東北季候風未來數天將為本港帶來較涼及乾燥天氣。天文台預測明日重陽節日間天氣乾燥，相對濕度最低百分之六十，最低氣溫亦降至攝氏二十三度，天文台提醒孝子賢孫重陽掃墓拜祭時要小心火種。

天文台科學主任江偉稱，一道冷鋒在廣東北部形成，並逐向南移動，與其相關的東北季候風將於今抵達華南沿岸，本港未來數天天氣轉涼及乾燥。預測今日大致多雲，初時有幾陣雨，氣溫介乎攝氏二十四至二十七度之間。乾燥天氣持續至下週二。

另外，消防處昨早聯同警務處、政府飛行服務隊、醫院管理局等部門於荃灣石龍拱進行跨部門模擬山火及攀山拯救演習。

上期說了電氣線路如何防火，這期針對家中一些常用電器怎樣防火一一加以說明：

電視機：電視機應放在通風條件好的地方，若放在電視櫃中應多開孔洞保證散熱。收看時間不要過長。因電視機工作發熱隨著的時間增長而加劇，收看時間越長，機內溫度就越高，所以一般連續收看三四個小時後關機一段時間，待機內熱量散發後再繼續收看。收看時如有異常現象，如屏幕突然出現刺眼的白熾光、冒煙或者聞見刺鼻的焦糊味等，應立即關機。長時間不使用或外出離家時，不要只把電視機的開關關閉，一定要切斷電源，以防止電視機長時間通電，使變壓器過熱起火。電視機一旦起火，應迅速切斷電視機電源，有條件的最好用乾粉或二氧化碳滅火器撲救，沒條件的可用棉被、棉毯等物將電視機覆蓋，讓火與空氣隔絕，從而達到滅火目的。切記不可用水撲救。

空調：安裝空調時要注意安裝的高度、方向和位置，注意與窗簾保持安全距離。供空調使用的線路、插座要專用，並要與導線載流量、電壓相符。

電熨斗：實驗證明，300瓦的電熨斗底板溫度可達700度，500瓦的可達1000度。所以，當電熨鬥在使用中需要暫停時，要將它放在耐火物上。熨完衣物時，要及時拔掉電源插頭，遇到停電更不要忘記將電源切斷，並注意不要讓電熨斗接觸塑料絕緣線，以免發生火災。

電飯鍋：電飯鍋最能好放在固定位置，切忌放在木板等易燃物上，更不能緊挨煤氣灶使用。用電飯鍋做湯、燒水時，要有人看管，並及時切斷電源。避免碰撞內鍋，內鍋若變形嚴重，應立即更換。不要用普通鋁鍋代替內鍋。

在裝潢和更換電器、電線時，要購買質量好的電線和電氣設備、部件，不要因貪圖便宜而購買三無產品，更要警惕不要買到假冒偽劣產品。
家中電線要及時更換，更換時要找有從業資格證的電工操作，防止因更換中操作不當引發事故，以及更換後因連接不合規格造成電線短路引發火災。

普通插座板、多功能插座板已是家用電器最常用的電路中轉連接工具，如果插座的質量不過關或使用不當，都會成為引發火災的誘因。因此，在選購插座時，要看產品是否標明企業名稱，規格型號，額定電壓、電流值等，最好選擇有質量保證的大品牌產品。同時，要注意功率較大的兩個電器不要插在同一個插座板上使用。多功能插座板上的插孔是為了使用方便，並不是讓所有插孔都插滿插頭，這樣會因負荷過重引發火災。

遇到樓內某戶居民家中著火時，千萬不要驚慌失措，要在第一時間撥打119報警電話，並冷靜對火情做出判斷，決定逃生方法。盲目跳樓是最錯誤的行為。
如果判斷火勢蔓延較慢，這時將被縟、毛毯、大衣用水浸濕，披裹在頭部和身體上，穿過煙過去，衝到樓外安全地點。
如果是臨近自家居室的樓層或對門住戶著火，你準備逃離房間時，要先用手摸一下自家的門。如果燙手，說明火已燒到你的門口，此時不能開門，一開門煙火馬上就會衝進房間；如果門是涼的，說明火還沒有燒到門前，可以開門逃生，但出門後要隨手關門，以防自家成為火勢蔓延的幫兇。
當大火襲來時，切不可因貪戀財物而貽誤了逃生時間。
樓內幾層都著了火，你的居室前大火已封，無法逃生，你可以在房內用浸濕的衣物、床單等堵塞門縫，向內門潑水降溫，增加門的抗火性，延緩火燒進房間的時間，在窗口呼救待援。
利用建築條件，如陽台、落水管、平台進行逃生。如一層著火，二層被困，可從窗口、陽台跳出逃生，但在跳前要先把家裡的床墊或棉被扔到地面，以防跳下時摔傷。還可以用繩子或將床單、被罩撕條結成繩索，一頭拴在暖氣管、門窗框等牢固物上，順牆滑下離開著火層。
從房間出來通過樓道、樓梯間的煙霧逃生時，切記不可迎煙霧直立身體，要用濕毛巾、手帕、口罩等摀住口鼻保護呼吸道；身子要以低姿勢如彎腰、蹲姿或匍匐前行尋找安全出口。
晚上發生火災，很有可能因火災燒斷電路造成停電，將影響救援人員的救援速度。此時，被困人員可向樓外扔軟物（如枕頭、沙發墊）或敲洗臉盆、打手電，以此告知救援人員自己被困的位置。

防火玻璃（英文名：Anti-fire Glass，又名Fire-resistan glass），其在防火時的作用主要是控制火勢的蔓延或隔煙，是一種措施型的防火材料，其防火的效果以耐火性能進行評價。
符合BS476: Part 22 :1987防火測試標準

防火玻璃的分類（按耐火性能劃分）

防火玻璃是一種在規定的耐火試驗中能夠保持其完整性和隔熱性的特種玻璃，按耐火性能等級分為三類:

A類
同時滿足耐火完整性、耐火隔熱性要求的防火玻璃。包括複合型防火玻璃和灌注型防火玻璃兩種。此類玻璃具有透光、防火（隔煙、隔火、遮擋熱輻射）、隔聲、抗衝擊性能,適用於建築裝飾鋼木防火門、窗、上亮、隔斷牆、采光頂、擋煙垂壁、透視地板及其他需要既透明又防火的建築組件中。
B類
船用防火玻璃，包括舷窗防火玻璃和矩形窗防火玻璃，外表面玻璃板是鋼化安全玻璃，內表面玻璃板材料類型可任意選擇。
C類
只滿足耐火完整性要求的單片防火玻璃。此類玻璃具有透光、防火、隔煙、強度高等特點。適用於無隔熱要求的防火玻璃隔斷牆、防火窗、室外幕牆等。

結構劃分

　防火玻璃分為復合防火玻璃（灌注型和複合型）與單片防火玻璃。

復合防火玻璃（干法）
由兩層或多層玻璃原片附之一層或多層水溶性無機防火膠夾層復合而成。
　　防火原理：火災發生時，向火面玻璃遇高溫後很快炸裂，其防火膠夾層相繼發泡膨脹十倍左右，形成堅硬的乳白色泡狀防火膠板，有效地阻斷火焰，隔絕高溫及有害氣體。成品品可磨邊、打孔、改尺切割。 
　　適用於外窗、外幕牆時，設計方案應考慮防火玻璃與PVB夾層玻璃組合使用。適用範圍：建築物房間、走廊、通道的防火門窗及防火分區和重要部位防火隔斷牆。
灌注型防火玻璃
　　由兩層玻璃原片（特殊需要也可用三層玻璃原片），四周以特製阻燃膠條密封。中間灌注的防火膠液，經固化後為透明膠凍狀與玻璃粘接成一體。
　　防火原理：遇高溫以後，玻璃中間透明膠凍狀的防火膠層會迅速硬結，形成一張不透明的防火隔熱板。在阻止火焰蔓延的同時，也阻止高溫向背火面傳導。此類防火玻璃不僅具有防火隔熱性能，而且隔聲效果出眾。可加工成弧形。
　　適用於防火門窗、建築天井、中庭、共享空間、計算機機房防火分區隔斷牆。
　　重要提示：玻璃四周顯露黑色密封邊框，適用於周邊壓條鑲嵌安裝。用於無遮擋的正陽面和西照面外窗時，事前咨詢製造商，徵求合理建議。
單片防火玻璃
單片防火玻璃是一種單層玻璃構造的防火玻璃。在一定的時間內保持耐火完整性、阻斷迎火面的明火及有毒、有害氣體，但不具備隔溫絕熱功效。
　　適用於外幕牆、室外窗、采光頂、擋煙垂壁、防火玻璃無框門，以及無隔熱要求的隔斷牆。

防火玻璃的應用

自國內單片防火玻璃批量生產以來，防火玻璃得到了更加廣泛的應用，但使用時有幾點必須注意：
1．選用防火玻璃前，要先清楚由防火玻璃組成的防火構件的消防具體要求，是防火、隔熱還是隔煙，耐火極限要求等。
2．單片和復合灌注型防火玻璃不能像普通平板玻璃那樣用玻璃刀切割，必須定尺加工，但複合型（干法）防火玻璃可以達到可切割的要求。
3．選用防火玻璃組成防火構件時，除考慮玻璃的防火耐久性能外，其支承結構和各元素也必須滿足耐火的需要。

當煤氣、天然氣、液化石油氣著火，應第一時間切斷氣源，如家裡配用小袋乾粉滅火劑，可將其投入火中滅火，也可使用乾粉滅火器或用濕棉被、濕麻袋等將火源覆蓋滅火。
人身上著火千萬不可帶火亂跑，要設法把身上著火的衣帽脫掉，如一時來不及，可就地臥倒打滾，把身上的火苗壓滅。旁邊的人可以用水或迅速用棉質衣物蓋在著火的部位，且勿用化纖的衣服，否則會傷及皮膚。也不可用滅火器直接向著火的人身上噴射，以免其中的藥劑引起燒傷者的傷口感染。

使用煤氣灶怎樣防火

使用煤氣灶（非自動打火）時，應先點火後開氣。如果先開氣後點火，在燃氣點燃之前，爐膛內外局部已存在煤氣與空氣的混合物，如果這時點火，很容易引起爐灶周圍發生爆炸，所以使用煤氣灶時，必須遵守先點火後開氣的操作規程。
發現家中有漏氣現象，檢查漏氣部位時可用肥皂水塗抹在管壁和接口處，看是否有氣泡出現，切勿用明火檢查。
當回到家發現有煤氣異味，應先打開門窗通風，沖淡煤氣在空氣中的含量，切勿開燈或動用明火。

Fireproofing
method of making normally combustible materials as nearly noncombustible as possible. Fireproofing generally applies to textiles and construction materials that are treated with a solution or coating of some substance that will tend to retard their ignition.

Fireproofing of Textiles
Textiles for use indoors are soaked in fire-retardant solutions made up mostly of boric acid and borax. Textiles for outdoors are soaked with chlorinated paraffin, chlorinated synthetic resins, or chlorinated rubber. The standard for effectiveness of these treatments is the weight of chemicals remaining after the materials dry. Large areas of textiles are brushed or sprayed, but they gain little resistance against severe fire exposure; the treatment is mainly a guard against lit cigarettes and short exposure to flame.

Rain, washing, or dry cleaning tends to leach the chemicals from the fabric; therefore latex is often added to waterproof the material. At one time asbestos could be mixed with natural fibers to increase their fire resistance, but now only glass or ceramic fibers are permitted. The fire resistance of a textile is generally expressed in hours of endurance to a standard temperature furnace.

Fireproofing of Construction Materials
In construction, heavy wood timbers have a relatively high fire resistance, because fire tends to burn very slowly inward from the surface, leaving enough sound timber in the center to prevent collapse. Wood framing can also be impregnated with ammonium phosphate solution or covered with special mastics. Stucco or other incombustible facing also gives a wood frame some protection from fire.

To be classed as fire resistive, buildings must be made of reinforced concrete or protected steel that will stand considerable fire with minor damage; even a building made of unprotected steel may be damaged. While steel retains its strength up to a very high temperature, it fails rapidly at temperatures over 1,000°F (540°C). Structural steel may be protected in a number of ways. It can be faced with brick, concrete, or tile; however, construction with these materials usually adds too much weight to a building. A protective layer of concrete over all surfaces of a beam or over the steel bars in reinforced concrete has to be at least 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) thick to be effective; hollow clay tile used to cover beams and girders has to be at least 4 in. (10 cm) thick. Thus most buildings use lightweight fireproofing such as gypsum, perlite, and vermiculite mixed in plaster, concrete, and mineral fiber; one inch (2.5 cm) of such materials will absorb an equivalent amount of heat as 2.5 in. (6.4 cm) of concrete.

Some recent buildings circulate water inside each column, protecting the structure against meltdown. Asbestos is no longer used, because inhalation of the fibers causes abestosis, a fatal lung disease; fireproof board made from a mixture of asbestos and cement is used only rarely. Concrete is still used, but mostly as a thin slab on floors. In urban areas, buildings must also provide protection against fire in neighboring buildings through fireproof exterior walls-preferably windowless, since windows are fire openings. Standards for fireproofing are set by organizations such as the American Insurance Association and the International Conference of Building Officials

Fire protection is the study and practice of mitigating the unwanted effects of fires. It involves the study of the behaviour, compartmentalisation, suppression and investigation of fire and its related emergencies, as well as the research and development, production, testing and application of mitigating systems. In structures, be they land-based, offshore or even ships, the owners and operators are responsible to maintain their facilities in accordance with a design-basis that is rooted in laws, including the local building code and fire code, which are enforced by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Buildings must be constructed in accordance with the version of the building code that is in effect when an application for a building permit is made. Building inspectors check on compliance of a building under construction with the building code. Once construction is complete, a building must be maintained in accordance with the current fire code, which is enforced by the fire prevention officers of a local fire department. In the event of fire emergencies, Firefighters, fire investigators, and other fire prevention personnel called to mitigate, investigate and learn from the damage of a fire. Lessons learned from fires are applied to the authoring of both building codes and fire codes.

In the United States, this term is used by engineers and code officials when referring only to active and passive fire protection systems, and does usually not encompass fire detection systems such as fire alarms or smoke detection.

建築物的消防等級（還是防火等級）是如何分類的呢？

建築可按不同的方式進行分類：

按使用性質分為三大類：工業建築、農業建築、民用建築。
按主要承重結構的材料分為五大類：生土—木結構、磚木結構、磚混結構、鋼筋混凝土結構、鋼結構。
按建築結構的承重方式分為四大類：牆承重式、骨架承重式、內骨架承重式、空間結構承重式。

民用建築按層數分五類：

低層建築：主要指1~3層的住宅建築。

高層建築：主要指4~6層的住宅建築。

中高層建築：主要指7~9層的住宅建築。

高層建築：主要指10至30層的住宅建築或總高度超過24米的公共建築及綜合性建築（不包括高度超過24米的單層主體建築）。

超高層建築：高度超過100米的建築。

建築物的等級是從重要性、防火、耐久年限等不同角度劃分的建築物級別。民用建築可按以下方式劃分等級：

按重要性分為五等：

特等：具有重大紀念性、歷史性、國際性和國家級的種類建築。

甲等：高級居住建築和公共建築。

乙等：中級居住建築和公共建築。

丙等：一般居住建築和公共建築。

按防火性能分四級：建築物的耐火等級分為四級。耐火等級標準是依據房屋主要構件的燃燒性能和耐火極限確定的。
按耐久年限分四級：

一級耐久年限，100年以上，適用於重要的建築和高層建築。
二級耐久年限，50~100年，適用於一般性建築。
三級耐久年限，25~50年，適用於次要的建築。
四級耐久年限，15年以下，適用於臨時性建築。

世界各地消防節

為了紀念滅火英雄或汲取某些火難的教訓，從而提醒後人搞好消防工作，世界上不少國家都有自己的「消防節」。

日本的文物防火節：1月26日為日本的文物防火節。在1949年1月26日，日本奈良縣斑鳩裡有一座建於公元747年的古剎法隆寺毀於火災。該寺院是世界上最早的大型木質結構建築之一，總建築面積為18萬平方米。殿內的12幅壁畫均是日本國寶。火災是螢光燈烤燃佛堂內的可燃物引起的。為記住這個教訓，日本政府將1月26日定為「文物防火節」。這一天全國文物部門都要開展防火宣傳和檢查，組織防火訓練，清除可燃性垃圾，排除火災隱患。各寺廟的僧侶神職人員要舉行防火、祭祀火神、誦佛經活動，消防隊將雲梯車開進寺廟，在高大的殿堂上作射水表演。
古羅馬的消防節：8月22日為古羅馬人的伏爾甘節（即消防節）。古羅馬是世界文化發源地之一，各種建築堪稱一絕，但是，大火卻給這個城市帶來了巨大的災難——公元前390年，高盧人入侵羅馬，撤走時在全城放火，古羅馬的早期建築及檔案資料、文物書籍大都被毀；公元64年，又遭大火，延燒 6天；公元80年再遭火劫，延燒3天，給這座古城造成毀滅性災難。古羅馬時期的諷刺詩人朱未那爾曾寫過這樣的諷刺詩：「羅馬何處無火情，使我得以安心生存？何處無長鳴火災報警，使我深夜能夠安靜」？古時羅馬城曾有「教堂兩千多」之說，後來只剩下300多座。為了避免火災，古羅馬造了一個叫伏爾甘的火神，說是各種災難都是伏爾甘降臨的，因此，每年8月22日古羅馬人都要舉行伏爾甘節，燃起熊熊火堆，投擲小魚等物品，祈求伏爾甘免除火災。
歐洲的消防節：5月4日是波蘭、匈牙利、奧地利、瑞士以及西德、英國、意大利一些國家和地區的消防節。公元184年5月4日這天，古羅馬的軍事長官弗羅裡安因傳播基督教而被判處極刑（沉入河底）。1184年弗羅裡安的遺骸被視為聖容轉移到波蘭克拉科夫的一個教堂裡。不幸的是，1528年 4月24日，那裡發生一場特大火災，城市的大部分建築被毀於一旦，而保存弗羅裡安遺骸的教堂卻完好無損。從此流傳開許多關於弗洛裡安顯靈幫助救火的神話，他的名字成為消防的象徵，同時他的遇難日也就成為消防隊員的節日。弗羅裡安還成為與火打交道的職業者崇拜的偶像。
我國的119消防宣傳日：1992年，國家公安部發出通知，將每年的11月9日定為「119」消防宣傳日。開展這一活動的目的，是因為冬季是火災多發季節。為了搞好冬季防火工作，以「119」消防宣傳日為契機，拉開冬防序幕，集中一段時間開展內容廣泛、形式多樣的消防安全宣傳活動，以提高全民消防安全意識，推動消防工作社會化的進程。我國過去的火警電話是「09」，因為在70年代以前，我國特別通訊是「0」號。70年代後期我國通訊服務號碼由「0」改為「11」，根據標準化管理的要求，火警電話號碼統一定為「119」，是漢語「要要救」的諧音。因為每年「119」是我國的消防宣傳日，實際上這一天已成為我國的消防節。
金華的民間消防節：過去，浙江金華地區每年都要舉行一次隆重的民間消防節，日期不統一，有的在農曆5月20日，有的在5月25日，有的在8月1日。

消防節一般在置有水龍的村鎮舉行，由消防組織水龍會（俗稱「救火會」）主辦。消防節這一天，由水龍會組織消防演習或比賽。這天清早，由水龍會的「會首」指揮，先響過三遍鑼，然後將水龍抬至塘邊或溪過（有的在「請龍」之日還要用豬、牛、羊祭祀水龍），全村男女老少一齊行動起來，拿著水桶、面盆爭先恐後取水入「龍」。水龍是一種木製的水壓機，由數十名青壯男子齊心協力輪番操作，由一人手執水管上下左右噴灑，還可以向人身上灑。若是同時有幾架水龍，則要進行比賽，看誰噴得遠、噴得高。

演習結束後，由水龍會的「會首」給各家分發一張「祥符」，「祥符」用紅紙製成，上面畫的有天龍噴水的力案，中間印有「小心燭火」四個字，「火」字是倒著寫的，意為滅火。

火災摧毀力強，偶一不慎，人命和財物都隨時受到威脅；後果不堪設想。所以防火措施必須做好，以保障生命和財產的安全。本文將為電子及通訊業的員工以及有關管理層，介紹實用的防火知識與應變措施，讓大家提高警覺，以防萬一。

火的危害：

高溫及火焰：會將皮膚毛髮或更深入的細胞組織燒傷引致死亡。
有毒氣體：一些物料例如梳化椅墊海棉及發泡膠等，在高溫下分解並且釋放出有毒氣體導致中毒。
缺氧：燃燒能耗用氧氣，造成缺氧引致窒息。
濃煙：氧氣不足導致不完全的燃燒，產生濃煙和一氧化碳，令人有窒息及中毒死亡的危險。吸入過量濃煙是火警中死亡的主要原因。
樓宇結構：火災會燒毀財物。另外在高溫下，樓宇結構亦都會受到影響，造成傾塌的危險。

火災成因：

管理不善：
- 物料（例如易燃液體）的貯存、搬運和使用不當。
- 高溫的生產工序（例如焊錫或噴錫）管理不善。
- 電器裝置的安裝、使用（例如電掣負荷過量）不當和欠缺保養。
- 疏忽使用機械及欠缺維修。
- 消防設備及裝置使用和保養不當。
人為疏忽：
- 煙頭及其他火種處理不當。
- 明火工序在有易燃物品的場所內進行。
- 防火意識不足。
- 靜電處理欠佳。
縱火：
- 人及車輛的進出均沒有效的管制。

防火重點：

火種處理：
- 煙蒂餘燼要小心處理，煙蒂必須完全熄滅及放置於適當盛器內。如未完全熄滅的煙蒂，切勿拋進廢紙籃內。
- 如有裝修或燒焊工程進行，施工者必須極度小心煙火，及採取有效措施，以防工序引起火警。
- 切勿在工作地點內隨便生火或煮食。
易燃物品處理：
- 切勿儲存過量危險物品或易燃液體，例如酒精或松香等。
- 切勿在儲存危險品及易燃品範圍內吸煙，以免發生火警。
- 易燃物品須遠離熱源（例如焗爐）及避免陽光直接照射。
電器使用須知：
- 必須確保各種電器操作正常，如發現有問題，切勿使用。
- 插頭或電線如有損壞，必須立即修理。
- 避免使用多孔插座（即萬能插蘇），而令電力負荷過重。
- 機器或電器（例如電腦）不用操作或下班時，應關掉所有電源。
- 電器旁邊座留有足夠空間散熱。

出口及通道：

門閘設施：
- 各種電動門閘，亦須加上手動設施以便失去電力時，仍可從內開出逃生。
出口方面：
- 作為出路之大門，必須採用防火物料建成，確保員工在火警時，能夠安全迅速撤離。
- 每一個出口都應有明確的中英文註明「出口」及「EXIT」字樣，並符合消防處守則所規定的照明出口標誌。
- 在出口位置不容易察覺的地區，應該有箭咀明確指示出口所在的方向。
- 由房間通往出口的門戶，或者在前往出口路線上的門戶，應該選用向外推出式的門；在一個超過 10人工作的房間或者高危險性區域的地方，此點特別重要。
- 所有出口門戶必須保持關閉，但切勿上鎖。
緊急照明：
- 建築物內應有緊急照明設備，以便電流中斷或發生火警時，可以找到出口疏散或逃生。

防火設備及裝置：

火警偵察器：一般來說可分為熱能式偵測器、煙霧式偵測器（俗稱煙霧頭）、以及感光式偵測器三類。
自動滅火器：依滅火劑的種類可分為三種，包括自動灑水系統、泡沫劑滅火系統、以及化學乾粉劑滅火系統。
消防喉轆和手控火警鐘系統：消防喉轆一般是由約三十米長的消防軟喉，一端接駁室內輸水管，另一端則是附有開關制的噴咀，還有一個控制輸水的消防龍頭手輪（俗稱塘環）所組成。至於手控火警鐘系統的裝置通常在消防喉轆附近，其功能除了當發現火警時由人手啟動警報系統通知樓宇內其他人士火警發生外，還可開動消防泵來加壓供水。
手提滅火筒：常見的有水劑、泡劑、二氧化碳、以及乾粉劑四類。
防煙門：是走火通道的重要一環，它的功能是阻止煙火的蔓延。
保養和訓練：所有防火設備及裝置須定期檢查保養及由受過訓練的人仕使用。

火警應變措施：

火警應變計劃：
- 公司應事先制訂緊急應變計劃，包括走火通道位置，集合地點等，將內容告知員工並在當眼處張貼有關資料以作提醒。
救火設備：
- 切勿阻塞救火設備，如消防喉轆或滅火筒。
- 應定期檢查消防設備，如有過期或損壞的應盡快更換。
發現火警的處理：
- 任何人當發現火警時都應保持鎮定，並立即按響警鐘。警鐘按鈕通常在樓梯附近，建築物內之人士應先認識警鐘按鈕的位置。
- 盡快報警或向公司內有關部門報告。
- 若受過訓練及在安全的情況下，可利用附近的消防喉轆或滅火筒滅火。若火勢不受控制或覺得有危險時，應立即離開到集合地點報到。
緊急疏散程序：
- 當火警鐘響起時，任何人應立即停止工作，經最近的走火通道離開到指定的地點集合。
- 離開前先將附近的電器之電源關上。
- 離開時應保持鎮定及守秩序。
- 離開房間時應順手將門關上。
- 切勿乘搭升降機。
- 到達集合地點時，應立即向主管報到。切勿擅自離開。
- 有關部門之主管人員應確保下屬已安全齊集，否則應立即向有關人士報告以便搜索。
- 未經有關負責人士宣佈，不得返回建築物內。
走火演習：
- 管理層應該經常舉行走火演習，使員工熟悉走火程序及檢討改進。

總結：

防火是所有工作場地的一項重要安全工作，特別是在風高物燥的冬季絕對不容忽視。只要僱主同僱員多了解工作地點的消防設施以及提高防火意識，則可避免由火警帶來的災難性損害。

Fire-rated board system 什麼是防火板

防火板又稱耐火板，它是由表層紙+色紙+多層牛皮紙構成的，它以鉋花板或是中密度板為基材，主要採用歐美品牌的「威盛亞」「富美家」「西德板」防火膠板為貼面，通過加壓基材鉋花板加工成為門板，防（耐）火板貼面門板是較早被運用到廚櫃門板表面的材料，曾經是門板的主流材料，具有耐火性能，具備耐熱，阻燃，耐磨，抗滲透，容易清洗，色彩豐富等特點。

再談威盛亞，美國威盛亞防火板是高溫高壓加工而成，是在溫度160攝氏每平方釐米壓制90公斤，壓制時間為70分鐘，有些防火板是中溫低壓加工而成，在溫度為100攝氏度以下，每平方釐米壓制90公斤，壓制時間為40分鐘，相比之下，這種防火板的壓制溫度和時間上不如威盛亞的防火板，因而比較容易彎曲，斷裂，威盛亞的表層紙和色紙都是通過三聚氫胺溶液浸泡過的，耐磨耐高溫性能很高，瞬間160度沒問題，耐轉數達700轉，才露出裡面的基材，國家標準是 400轉，（用鋼絲球在防火板上面磨擦）才露出裡面的基材，並且，它的顏色達到800多種，分為亮面和麻面，還有金屬面的，選擇的餘地很大，威盛亞公司採用專門做防火板的牛皮紙，具有更高抗衝擊性和更強的柔韌性，由於防火膠板作為正面的貼面居多，反而粘貼較簿的防火板，正反兩張防火板的厚度不一會導致受力不均衡而容易產生彎曲變形等現象，如粘貼操作不當還容易脫膠，開裂等

防火板型門板是目前用得最多的門板材料，它的顏色比較鮮豔，封邊形式多樣，具有耐磨、耐高溫、耐剮、抗滲透、容易清潔、防潮、不褪色、觸感細膩、價格實惠等優點。防火板門板基材為鉋花板、防潮板或密度板，表面飾以防火板貼面。國產防火門板價格較低，韓國板材和德國板材的成本則要增加25%和50%左右。防火板符合櫥櫃「美觀實用」相結合的發展趨勢，因此在市場上長盛不衰。其缺點是門板為平板，無法創造凹凸、金屬等立體效果，時尚感稍差。防火板是採用硅質材料或鈣質材料為主要原料，與一定比例的纖維材料、輕質骨料、黏合劑和化學添加劑混合，經蒸壓技術製成的裝飾板材。

滅火，點止單係用水! 由於火有不同的分類，係救火的時候，要先清楚火警的成因，才可使用正確的滅火器材撲救。一般而言，火警是由下列四類物質引致:

A類火災 - 普通火災

普通可物如木製品、紙纖維、棉、布、合成樹脂、橡膠發生之火災。通常建築物之火災即屬此類可以藉水或含水溶液的冷卻作用使燃燒物溫度降低，以致達成滅火效果

B類火災 - 油類火災

可燃性液體如石油、或可燃性氣體如乙烷、乙炔、或可燃性油脂如塗料等發生之火災最有效的是以掩蓋法隔離氧氣，使之窒熄。此外如移開可燃物或降低溫度亦可以達到滅火效果

C類火災 - 電氣火災

涉及通電中之電氣設備，如電器、變壓器、電線、配電盤等引起之火災有時可用不導電的滅火齊控制火勢，但如能截斷電源再視情況依A或B類火災處理，較為妥當

D類火災 - 金屬火災

專家表示，好的防火門一般採用硅酸鋁纖維或岩棉作填充材料。但這些耐火材料又常是火災毒煙的源頭。一般來說，家居用門防火意義不大。真正的防火門需取得“防火證”和耐火極限檢測報告，廠家為此要花數萬元。

近期樓市回暖，不少新業主都忙著裝修新居。記者連日走訪發現，現在不少防盜門都宣稱能防火，有防火功能的防盜門還要貴上數百元。不過專家表示，能否防火要看填充材料，一些宣稱是“聚氨酯發泡”的，根本不能防火。若廠家宣稱能防火，必須提供防火證和檢驗報告。

走訪：有防火功能貴800元

小駱最近忙著裝修，但光是一扇防盜門就讓她看花了眼，“又隔音又保溫還防火呢，都不知道是真是假。”

記者走訪了幾個裝修材料市場。在越秀中路一家賣防盜門的店舖，一位老闆娘模樣的女士介紹了一款東×牌的鋼塑門，“門的材質是鋼板，裏面的填充材料是‘高壓聚氨酯發泡’，能防火隔音，一扇門1880元。”在另一家店，店主也介紹一款鋼板門，說填充材料是“防火泡沫”，“耐火半個小時左右”，售價1480元。不過這些店舖都表示沒有防火證提供。

“我們這裡的門填充料是岩棉，都有防火證，耐火時間能達到72分鐘”，在第三家×家牌的專賣店，銷售經理說，他們有防火功能的產品都取得了防火證，一款有防火功能的“乙級防盜安全門”，價格是2680元，沒有防火功能的“丁級防盜安全門”，價格為1800元，相差880元。

專家：泡沫只能保溫不防火
“高壓聚氨酯發泡根本起不到防火的作用”，廣州市品質監督檢測研究院建材消防檢驗部部長何國山告訴記者，所謂“高壓聚氨酯發泡”本身很容易著火，即使加了阻燃劑，也滿足不了真正的防火需求，“聚氨酯就是冰箱門的泡沫，只能起保溫作用”。

何國山說，如果防盜門要添加防火的功能，那麼必須同時符合防盜和防火兩個國家標準，“目前我還沒有看到真正的有防火功能的防盜門。”

“好的防火門一般採用硅酸鋁纖維或岩棉作填充材料，或者選用密度較大的其他耐火材料。但這些耐火材料又常是火災毒煙的源頭，因此我們只能選擇產煙毒性低的材料”。

“一般來說，家居用門防火意義不大”，何國山指出，即使防盜門真正能防火，也要取得“防火證”和耐火極限的檢測報告，成本要數萬元。這對於普通廠家來說是很高的成本，“所以市面上很少有真正既防盜又防火的產品。”

何國山說，要判斷產品是否真的能防火必須通過檢測，肉眼無法判斷，“防火證和檢測報告都有編號，可以通過檢測中心的號碼查詢真偽。”

防煙門
又稱防火門，是用來維持走火通道的耐火完整性及提供逃生途徑的門。其目的是要確保在一段合理時間內（通常是逃生時間），保護走火通道內正在逃生的人免受火災的威脅，包括阻隔濃煙及熱力。

完整性
在合理時間內，防煙門必須能保持走火通道的完整性，避免火勢直接漫延至走火通道內，導致更大量的火警傷亡。這包括兩方面：

防煙門必須在燃燒底下，在合理時間內，仍然保持良好狀況，即沒有嚴重變形或破裂等情況。

防煙門必須保持常關，失去阻隔的功能。

隔熱性
在合理時間內及一些特定的地方，防煙門必須避免過度傳熱，致使火災在防煙門仍在關閉的情況下，漫延至走火通道內。

材料
多以實心的厚木製造，現在也有玻璃或金屬的防煙門。

安裝
防煙門的開啟方向必須與走火方向一致，以減低逃生的時間。

在防煙門上安裝玻璃，以方便開啟的一方了解另一方的狀況，避免意外。

防煙門的門扇在開啟時不會造成走火通道闊度的縮減。

矽氧樹脂亦稱為矽酮，(polymerized siloxanes或polysiloxanes)是一個介於有機與無機的聚合物，其化學式為[R2SiO]n，其R= 甲基，乙基和苯基。這些材料由無機矽氧鍵骨架(...-Si-O-Si-O-Si-O-...)和以共價鍵和矽原子結合的支鏈有機基團組成。有些情況下，有機支鏈可將兩個或以上的無機矽氧鍵骨架連接起來。通過控制骨架的長度，有機基團的種類和骨架的交聯，可得到具有不同性質和組成的矽氧樹脂。其一致性可變，可從液體到凝膠，橡膠和硬塑料。最常見的種類為線性的polydimethylsiloxane或PDMS(一種矽油)。第二常見的矽脂材料種類是基於矽樹脂分子形態基於樹狀或籠狀矽氧鍵。

密封膠在建築施工與維護上的應用

單組分(one-part)矽氧樹脂一般應用在封閉縫隙、介面或是裂縫上，不論是專業型或是一般商用型都已被廣泛的運用。而單組分密封膠是藉由吸收大氣中的水分來凝固，這種特性有助於現場的專業施作。如欲達到平整的密閉表面，一般可使用遮蔽膠帶，甚者，許多專業的密封膠的施作人員常會配合使用木置的刮杓，這種手工製造並浸泡過稀釋的肥皂水的刮杓是一種相當理想的工具，而一般的居家用戶會運用濕的手指將玻璃壓條導入矽氧樹脂的填縫劑裡。

氨基鉀酸酯(urethane)填縫劑也使用類似的方法，白色矽氧樹脂往往會在一段時間之後變黃。

矽氧樹脂橡膠的強度與可靠度在營造業裡也已被廣泛的認同。

由於任何些許的矽氧樹脂附著都會造成嚴重的漆料噴塗失敗，自動車身的製造廠以及噴塗廠必須防止任何矽氧樹脂的污染，因此供應商或是承包商常常被要求要簽署禁帶任何矽氧樹脂入場的同意書。

在配管與機動車領域，矽氧樹脂場被使用為潤滑劑，而車用火星塞的配線則常運用多層矽氧樹脂來做為隔絕，以避免因火花濺入相鄰的導線所引發的不發火，同時減少了因無線電頻率干擾所造成的引擎管理電腦干擾。在配管領域，矽氧樹脂油常被應用在水龍頭或水管上的密封圈；在機動車領域，相較於其他的潤滑劑，由於矽氧樹脂油耐高溫及非水溶性的特質非常適合作為典型的煞車潤滑劑，並大大的降低了腐化煞車墊的情況。

由經濟部指定認可實驗室，依據中國國家標準CNS 11227/A3223防火門耐火試驗法測試合格，並取得經濟部標準檢驗局核發驗證登錄證書及授權標識者，稱之為防火門。依據美國NFPA及IBC規範所定義之「防火門」為「能夠共同提供開口部一定程度之防火保護之任何防火門扇、門樘、五金及其他配件之組合。」

依據中國國家標準CNS 11227/A3223防火門加熱試驗結果，若防火門試體符合下列(一)至(五)項條件時即可視為符合Ａ種(具阻熱性)防火門規定，若僅符合下列(一)至(四)項條件時即可視為符合Ｂ種(不具阻熱性)防火門規定。

All components are required to adhere to product certification requirements that are acceptable to the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) by meeting the requirements of the local building code and fire code. The regulatory requirement will change from country to country.

For example in the United Kingdom a fire resisting doorset should be sujected to either a British Standard Fire Test BS 476 Part 22 1987, or a BS/EN 1634-1 2000 test. The results are recorded by the test house or Institute and given in a report which will also detail such things as constructional details, distortion data and pressure readings. These tests are applicable to the performance of the specimen tested. It is the Building Regulations approved Document B or British Standards such as the BS 5588 series which lays down the criteria for the fire performance such as 30 minutes FD30 or FD30(S) if cold smoke resistance is required.

Similar technical guidance documents and building regulations are in effect in other countries.

Combustibility

Fire doors are not necessarily all noncombustible. A fire door is but one of many passive fire protection components used to compartmentalise fire and thus keep it in the compartment of origin, so either it runs out of fuel or it is extinguished, or, at the very least, enough time has been bought to enable evacuation of the building.

防火玻璃，其在防火時的作用主要是控制火勢的蔓延或隔煙，是一種措施型的防火材料，其防火的效果以耐火性能進行評價。

防火玻璃的分類
防火玻璃是一種在規定的耐火試驗中能夠保持其完整性和隔熱性的特種玻璃，按耐火性能等級分為三類:
A類同時滿足耐火完整性、耐火隔熱性要求的防火玻璃。包括複合型防火玻璃和灌注型防火玻璃兩種。此類玻璃具有透光、防火（隔煙、隔火、遮擋熱輻射）、隔聲、抗衝擊性能,適用於建築裝飾鋼木防火門、窗、上亮、隔斷牆、採光頂、擋煙垂壁、透視地板及其他需要既透明又防火的建築組件中。
B類船用防火玻璃，包括舷窗防火玻璃和矩形窗防火玻璃，外表面玻璃板是鋼化安全玻璃，內表面玻璃板材料類型可任意選擇。
C類只滿足耐火完整性要求的單片防火玻璃。此類玻璃具有透光、防火、隔煙、強度高等特點。適用於無隔熱要求的防火玻璃隔斷牆、防火窗、室外幕牆等。
從結構上分，防火玻璃分為復合防火玻璃（灌注型和複合型）與單片防火玻璃。

復合防火玻璃（干法）
由兩層或多層玻璃原片附之一層或多層水溶性無機防火膠夾層復合而成。
防火原理：火災發生時，向火面玻璃遇高溫後很快炸裂，其防火膠夾層相繼發泡膨脹十倍左右，形成堅硬的乳白色泡狀防火膠板，有效地阻斷火焰，隔絕高溫及有害氣體。成品品可磨邊、打孔、改尺切割。 
適用於外窗、外幕牆時，設計方案應考慮防火玻璃與PVB夾層玻璃組合使用。適用範圍：建築物房間、走廊、通道的防火門窗及防火分區和重要部位防火隔斷牆。
灌注型防火玻璃
由兩層玻璃原片（特殊需要也可用三層玻璃原片），四周以特製阻燃膠條密封。中間灌注的防火膠液，經固化後為透明膠凍狀與玻璃粘接成一體。
防火原理：遇高溫以後，玻璃中間透明膠凍狀的防火膠層會迅速硬結，形成一張不透明的防火隔熱板。在阻止火焰蔓延的同時，也阻止高溫向背火面傳導。此類防火玻璃不僅具有防火隔熱性能，而且隔聲效果出眾。可加工成弧形。
適用於防火門窗、建築天井、中庭、共享空間、計算機機房防火分區隔斷牆。
重要提示：玻璃四周顯露黑色密封邊框，適用於周邊壓條鑲嵌安裝。用於無遮擋的正陽面和西照面外窗時，事前諮詢製造商，徵求合理建議。

單片防火玻璃
單片防火玻璃是一種單層玻璃構造的防火玻璃。在一定的時間內保持耐火完整性、阻斷迎火面的明火及有毒、有害氣體，但不具備隔溫絕熱功效。
適用於外幕牆、室外窗、採光頂、擋煙垂壁、防火玻璃無框門，以及無隔熱要求的隔斷牆。

防火玻璃的應用
自國內單片防火玻璃批量生產以來，防火玻璃得到了更加廣泛的應用，但使用時有幾點必須注意：
1．選用防火玻璃前，要先清楚由防火玻璃組成的防火構件的消防具體要求，是防火、隔熱還是隔煙，耐火極限要求等。

我國的建築規範要求,所有安裝在有防火要求的割斷上的產品,應由企業所在地省消防總隊抽樣送至國家指定的防火材料檢測中心(即四川和天津兩國家防火建築材料質量監督檢驗中心任何一家)進行測試,必須達到規範要求,並且取得這些機構頒發的檢驗報告方可進行銷售!
單片銫鉀防火玻璃的耐火性能試驗按國家現行標準進行,經測試符合中華人民共和國國家標準GB15763.1-2001《建築用安全玻璃防火玻璃》的規範產品。

A fire door is a type of door or movable barrier used as part of a passive fire protection system within buildings to prevent the spread of fire or smoke between separate sections. It is usually the only means of allowing people to pass through a fire-resistant wall.

Components

Fire doors may be made of a combination of materials, such as:

* timber
* steel
* gypsum (as an endothermic fill)
* vermiculite-boards
* glass sections

Apart from the door leaf (the swinging panel of the door) there is the door frame which also has to meet fire rated regulations, intumescent strips, smoke seals, door hardware and the structure that holds the fire door assembly in place. Together, these components form an assembly, typically called a "doorset" which holds a rating, in hours, specifying the amount of time it is able to resist a fire at a given temperature. All of the components of the fire door assembly must bear a listing agencies label (with the exception of ball bearing hinges which meet the basic build requirements of ANSI 156.2 and NFPA 80) to ensure the components have been tested to meet the fire rating requirements.

Door hardware

Door hardware includes, but is not limited to:

* Automatic closing devices.
* Ball bearing hinges.
* Positive latching mechanism.

Seals

Edges of a fire door usually need to have fire rated seals which can be composed of:

* An intumescent strip, which expands when exposed to heat
* Neoprene weatherstripping
* Gaskets to prevent the passage of smoke

Intumescent seals are crucial in maintaining the performance of a fire resistant door, and as such, the correct seal should always be used. Seals may vary in chemical composition, expansion rate, expansion volume, and/or charring characteristics.

Windows

Some fire doors are equipped with internal windows which also have a rating, or have been incorporated at the time of the door test and be subject to the overall door's product certification. Fire-resistive windows must remain intact under fire conditions and hose stream impact resistance, and can include:

* Wire mesh glass
* Liquid sodium silicate fills between two window panes
* Ceramic glasses
* Borosilicate glass

Wired glass typically withstands the fire, whereas the sodium silicate liquid also acts to insulate heat transfer, due to the endothermic action of this chemical.

(1) Kitchens / Bathrooms

Stove

Stove should be kept clear of odds and ends such as waste papers and other combustibles.
Stove should be regularly cleaned to prevent grease accumulation.

Fuel

Store cooking fuel such as liquefied petroleum gas and kerosene (not more than one container at any time) well away from the stove and sources of heat.
Kerosene must be stored in metal containers and tightly closed.
Never fill a kerosene stove or heater when it is alight.

Cooking

Take extra care when cooking. Beware of burning and boiling over.
Do not leave your cooking unattended, especially for pans of fat or cooking oil.
Always switch off the stove before leaving the premises.

Gas appliances

Installation should be carried out by qualified technicians. Make sure that the area is well ventilated. In case of a gas leak:
Turn off the gas supply at the pressure regulator switch only. Do not touch or operate the ignition switch.
Open all windows and doors wide to disperse the gas.
Do not use the telephone or operate any electrical switches.

(2) Electrical Appliances and Electric Circuits

Air-conditioners

Before installing air-conditioners, examine the power consumption to avoid overloading.

Electrical Appliances

Avoid prolonged use of air-conditioners, electric fans and televisions, etc.
Allow sufficient space behind your TVs, Hi-Fi sets, refrigerators and microwave ovens and around the ventilation openings for heat dissipation.
Disconnect the electrical appliances from the power socket when not in use (except for refrigerators).

Heaters

Never place the heater too close to beds, curtains or settees.
Do not dry your clothes on top of the heater.
Place portable heaters securely so that they would not be knocked down easily.

Sockets

Always handle power points, switches and plugs with dry hands.
Never connect too many plugs to the same socket to avoid overloading.

Electric Wiring

Should not attempt to extend electric wires.
Avoid placing them in passage ways or under heavy furniture. Do not run them under rugs and carpets.

Make a habit of checking all the installations regularly, or having them checked at least once a year.
In case of short circuit, it should be checked by a qualified electrician without delay.

Matches and Lighters

Keep matches and cigarette lighters out of the reach of children and warn children against playing with them.

Ashtrays

Cigarette ends and matches must be properly extinguished before disposal in the ashtrays.

Never smoke in bed as mattresses could be set on fire by a lighted cigarette.

Foam rubber or fabric-mounted furniture

Pay special attention to foam rubber or fabric-mounted sofas or chairs because they can be easily ignited by a lighted cigarette end, thus causing a fire and giving out toxic gases and smoke.

Ironing

The overheating of left-on-and-forgotten irons would often set scorched clothes on fire, especially if the ironing board is made of wood and covered with a cloth.

Burning joss sticks and joss papers

Joss sticks and papers should be burnt inside a metal container, clear of combustibles such as waste papers and carton boxes.
All ashes must be extinguished thoroughly before disposal.

Home Decoration

Use non-flammables or materials that are not combustible easily.
Avoid replacing fire resistant fixtures such as kitchen doors and main doors.
Do not change the usage of balcony.

Windows

Do not install fixed window grilles so that the windows can be opened easily for rescue in case of fire.

Check around before going to bed

Make sure that all gas appliances and kerosene stoves are switched off and cigarettes extinguished.
Make sure that all electrical appliances such as fans, televisions and portable heaters are either switched off or unplugged.

If there is a fire in your flat
Keep calm and tell everyone in your flat to leave.
Close all doors after you left your flat to prevent the spread of fire.
Activate the firm alarm by breaking the Break Glass with hard object and yell "Fire".

Call the Fire Services Department by dialing "999" when you are safe.
Use the emergency exits in the opposite direction of the fire.
Use the stairway behind the smoke door to leave the building.

If you find smoke on your way down the stairs
Leave that stairway as soon as you can and use another stairway if it is clear of smoke.
If you can't use any stairway, return to your flat if you can, or bang on other flat doors until you find a place to take shelter.
Remember, wherever you are, if there is smoke, crawl close to the floor. The air is fresher near the floor.

If you remain in your unit
Keep smoke from entering your unit. Use duct tape to seal cracks around the door and place wet towels at the bottom. Seal vents or air ducts the same way.
Show your rescuers where you are by waving eye-catching clothes from the balcony or window.

The Three Don'ts

Do not use the lift.
Do not wedge open the smoke door on your way escaping from the building, otherwise the smoke will spread quickly.
Do not go back to your flat to collect valuables.

Familiarize with the escape route

Familiarize with the direction and routing of the means of escape to well-prepared for quick evacuation.
Participate in fire drills to help identify the escape route.

Fire Safety Buildings Regulations

According to the Fire Safety Regulations of the Hong Kong Buildings Department, the compartment entrance doors, fixed glazed partition wall and windows at the back staircase of the building structure, all contributing to the basic element of the fire escape route or the protected lobby, are required to be FIRE RESISTANT.

Glazed doors and fixed partition walls are required to be tested or assessed in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1978, being capable of resisting the action of fire, in terms of Integrity and Insulation.

假冒偽劣消防產品 - 內蒙古包頭市集中銷毀千餘件

新華網內蒙古頻道１１月６日電（白冰、王穎潔）假冒偽劣消防產品不僅起不到防火作用，反而會適得其反。１１月５日，內蒙古自治區包頭市集中銷毀了千餘件不合格消防產品。

在銷毀現場，當消防官兵將一扇鋼製防火門切開時，裡面竟然露出蜂窩狀的紙張。消防執法人員介紹，合格的防火門裡應當在門內填充經過耐火處

理的珍珠巖。當火災發生時，這種偽劣的防火門不僅無法阻止火勢蔓延，還會加速燃燒，火災發生時根本起不到任何防護作用。同時被銷毀的還有應急照明燈、安全疏散指示標誌和滅火器等共千餘件套假冒偽劣產品。

今年以來，為確保打假工作進展順利取得實效，包頭市消防支隊重點整治了公眾聚集場所、易燃易爆單位、事關國計民生的油水電氣行業和在建工程，並把防火門、防火塗料、室內消火栓、消防應急燈具、滅火器和排煙防火閥等產品作為主要整治內容。在打假工作中，消防部門堅持執行「檢查整治不漏一項，假冒偽劣不留一件，違法犯罪不放一人」的工作原則，嚴格依法開展消防產品檢查整治，對使用不合格消防產品或國家明令淘汰的消防產品的，一律依法責令改正或處罰，使假冒偽劣消防產品氾濫現象得到明顯遏制。

據包頭市消防支隊相關負責人介紹，此次活動是包頭歷史上規模最大的一次消防產品整治活動，消防部門將繼續嚴厲查處不符合市場准入制度、質量不符合國家行業標準或地反非標準的假冒偽劣消防產品，也提醒各有關單位以及消防產品生產企業要自覺抵制使用、生產假冒偽劣消防產品，主動舉報假冒偽劣消防產品。
