Product Conformity Certification Scheme for Passive Fire Protection Products (PCCS-PFPP:001)

The certification is made according to specific requirements and testing standards devised by Hong Kong Certification Services Limited (HKCSL) to monitor quality and implement production management system. The Hong Kong Certification Services Limited inspects factory every year and conducts sampling tests to check if the products conform to specific requirements and testing standards.

The certification is carried out to protect consumers from buying substandard products and ensure products on the market meet certain standards.

  1. Hong Kong Accreditation Services (HKAS) publishes standards and requirements for certification

  2. Sherex Fire-proof Material Factory presents company's information and data about the fire-rated door

    • HKAS designates a qualified testing center to carry out fire-rated test to check if the product conforms to BS476 : Part 22 : 1987 (a testing standard).
    • HKCSL evaluates production and management system of the factory.

產品認證 - 中國標準防火門

由經濟部指定認可實驗室，依據中國國家標準CNS 11227/A3223防火門耐火試驗法測試合格，並取得經濟部標準檢驗局核發驗證登錄證書及授權標識者，稱之為防火門。依據美國NFPA及IBC規範所 定義之「防火門」為「能夠共同提供開口部一定程度之防火保護之任何防火門扇、門樘、五金及其他配件之組合。」


依據中國國家標準CNS 11227/A3223防火門加熱試驗結果，若防火門試體符合下列(一)至(五)項條件時即可視為符合Ａ種(具阻熱性)防火門規定，若僅符合下列(一)至(四)項條件時即可視為符合Ｂ種(不具阻熱性)防火門規定。


  1. 未產生防火上認為有害之變形、破壞、脫落、剝離等變化者。
  2. 未產生通達試體非加熱面之火焰及有害於防火之裂隙、孔穴。
  3. 加熱試驗中試體周邊(門扇)任一部分，反曲或撓度未超過門扇厚度二分之一。
  4. 加熱試驗中試體非加熱面未產生燃燒火焰。
  5. 加熱試驗中試體最高非加熱面溫度未超過260℃。

綜 合言之，在一定時間內，包括門扇、門樘及五金配件等，能夠符合耐火穩固性、遮焰性及絕熱性之完整門組，亦即在火場內相對能夠維持形體穩固、不使火煙穿透及 阻隔熱源傳導等基本性能，才能將火災控制在防火區劃線內，不致延燒或引燃另一火場，具有此種基本性能的門才能稱為「防火門」，不論是何種材質，都必須通過 經濟部指定實驗室之檢測。

Fire Safety Buildings Regulations

According to the Fire Safety Regulations of the Hong Kong Buildings Department, the compartment entrance doors, fixed glazed partition wall and windows at the back staircase of the building structure, all contributing to the basic element of the fire escape route or the protected lobby, are required to be FIRE RESISTANT.

Glazed doors and fixed partition walls are required to be tested or assessed in accordance with BS 476: Part 22: 1978, being capable of resisting the action of fire, in terms of Integrity and Insulation.

Integrity:

The ability of a glazing system to keep back flames, smoke and hot gasses, with no flaming on the non-fire side for the duration of the test period.

Insulation:

The ability of a glazing system to restrict the temperature rise of the non-fire side to below specified levels for the duration of the test period.

Glass deserves the existence to provide space and transparent solution for most interior designers.

On top of this application, Fire Resisting Performance is essential to keep out of the potential fire and smoke in an isolated area.

When subject to heat condition, the interlayer resin intumesces and solidifies to form an opaque barrier that protects the non-fire side of the glazed panel from radiated heat and the possibility of spontaneous combustion on the non-fire side, allowing safe evacuation of the escape corridor.
